Summary:
Metal Sales is the nation's largest manufacturer of metal roofing and building systems with 21 locations across America.
Our Woodland, CA branch has an opening for a Facilities Technician.
This position keeps our building and the grounds in good shape which contributes to a safe working environment for our employees.

You'll be responsible for (but not limited to):
Repairing building structures and other minor construction projectsKeeping the building and grounds in good repair and safe working condition; includes emptying trash, cleaning equipment, and controlling any oily conditionsCommunicating with maintenance and branch management on equipment statuses and maintaining records of maintenance activitiesUsing company vehicle to pickup & deliver parts or productsFollowing safety protocol and working with other teams on projects as neededJob RequirementsThe most qualified candidates will have:
Knowledge of standard cleaning methods and proceduresAbility to stand, walk, and bend for many hoursAbility to perform repetitive motion for long periods of timeHigh School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or certifications in a technical/manufacturing field a definite plusPositive can-do attitude with a strong desire to continuously learnSense of priority combined with ability to take initiative and manage multiple tasksDriver's license with good driving history required.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Work environment could include outdoor/indoor fabrication or shop facilities and indoor office facilitiesMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs with or without assistance without any restrictionsPosition requires frequent standing, climbing, lifting, pulling, pushing, walking, and other movementsAbility to work in a variety of weather conditions (cold, hot, rain, etc.
