Region Director – Operations Supply Chain (Sacramento CA Area)

Responsible for and directs overall management of multiple high volume, automated regional distribution centers:
Woodland CA (Sacramento area) and Kingman AZ. Accountable to establish the strategy and drive a positive culture of stewardship, diversity and integrity for the facilities. Responsible for providing an effective, safe work environment.Specific responsibilities include inbound operations, outbound operations, distribution of products, budget planning and management, and retailer satisfaction with maximum efficiency, quality, and service at the least possible cost. Directs planning to assure optimum performance related to space utilization, inventory availability, warehousing and delivery cost efficiencies. Partners with human resources and the local team to manage employee relations programs and issues. Responsible and accountable for the integrity and maintenance of the total distribution center, including inventory, equipment, furnishings, land and buildings.
Position Description
Accountable for multiple facilities (2-3 regional distribution facilities) and is responsible to drive continuous process improvements to maximize productivity and efficiency. Demonstrates total company mindset and actively supports the VP, Operations in leading strategic initiatives such as the network optimization strategy and eCommerce (Omni - Channel) fulfillment.Monitors and controls assigned multiple Regional Distribution Centers performance toward budgetary, productivity, quality and safety goals to ensure high level retailer service and timely delivery. Manages and controls all expenses attributable to utilization and distribution center buildings and property, inbound/outbound operations, transportation and distribution of products, equipment.Leadership of national and regional strategic direction through ensuring tactical implementation of key projects and initiatives in the facilities.Responsible for meeting organizational goals and programs to meet the needs of True Value retailers for customer service, responsiveness, quality, and fill-rate. Works directly with Retailers and Growth team to establish and foster strong customer relationships.Responsible to coordinate all associate training for job requirements, regulatory compliance and safety requirements. Coach, train and develop supervisors, managers and future leaders by fostering a leadership environment that is conducive to teamwork and personal/professional growth.Aligns supply chain culture and values with True Value's overall company strategy.Collaborates across departments to create opportunities to improve customer service and drive profitability.Major Financial
