Colonial, a Fortune 500 company (UNUM), is a world leader in corporate benefit packages and is seeking a Area Manager to manage a team of Account Executives and oversee a book of commercial accounts in the Los Angeles area.
We are looking for enthusiastic, career-minded, self-motivated individuals. If you are new in the field, our management in training program is the best training in the industry. If you are experienced in managing people and maintaining a book of clients, we will give you the tools and support to ensure your success.
Responsibilities:
Recruit and develop a sales team with training and recruiting support from a national industry leader
- Conduct B2B benefits sales and communication
- Manage an office of insurance agents and managers
- Interview, prescreen, and select quality individuals to join the company
- Lead Field training, running appointments with clients and new agents
- Additional activities include conducting sales meetings and orientations for new agents

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
