Accounting Technician:
$54,184 - $65,873.
60 AnnuallySenior Accounting Technician:
$59,612 - $72,446.
40 AnnuallyCurrent Job OpeningsCurrent vacancies exist with the Health and Human Services Agency and the Department of Financial Services.
The ideal candidate must have great customer service skills, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to handle and manage multiple priorities while maintaining a positive collaborative environment.
Previous experience in accounting and various computer systems is desired.
The PositionAccounting Technician:
Under general supervision, to perform difficult and moderately technical para-professional accounting, finance, and bookkeeping duties required in the maintenance of fiscal and statistical records; to prepare and assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial statements, documents, analyses and accounting reports; to review, verify, reconcile, and record financial transactions which require considerable interpretative ability and technical judgement; to perform other related duties as required.
Senior Accounting Technician:
Under general supervision, to perform highly technical and complex para-professional and beginning professional level accounting and bookkeeping functions of grants, contracts, purchase orders and other financial records related to the monitoring, reconciliation, verification, analysis, and approval of financial expenditures.
